Job Description
My client’s electrical team is looking for a Lead, someone who has a network of work and able to continue to grow it. This team is unique in that they have a diverse background, which allows them to be involved in a wide range of markets. They love to take on new challenges in varying regions with vast construction types.
Education: Electrical Engineering degree
Responsibilities
- Lead and shape projects across various sectors, including commercial, institutional, educational, and industrial. Mentor a team of electrical engineers, guide project delivery, and foster strong client relationships.
- Oversee and contribute to electrical design for buildings including commercial, institutional, educational, sports & recreation, healthcare, airports, transportation, and industrial facilities.
- Collaborate with project teams from conceptual and preliminary design stages through to project completion.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements and maintain strong business relationships.
- Participate in business development activities throughout the Metro Vancouver area.
- Champion a culture of client service excellence and team collaboration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering building services design.
- Registered P.Eng. with APEGA, or eligible for registration.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, civic, and industrial projects.
This position is located in Calgary, AB Canada and can be a shareholder type role.
