Our client is a general contractor specializing in Demolition. Their projects range from high-rise structures, bridges and overpasses, industrial sites, and commercial/retail complexes, to residential in green demolition to meet LEED or other recycling initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the execution of site-specific activities in accordance with project plans and specifications, drawings, and the approved work plan
• Directs site forces, craft labor, and subcontractors
• Provides feedback to the project manager on production rates, schedule, and costs
• Correspondent with GC superintendents
• Manage project schedule
• Ensures on-site adherence to the H&S plan by all project participants
• Directs and manages subcontractor activities related to surveying, photographic documentation, and materials testing
• Implements project QC plan
 
Requirements:

• 10 years experience in structural demolition projects
• Computer literate (MS Word, excel, Heavy Job)
• Excellent communication skills
• Industrial experience is an asset
• Able to read drawings
• Team Player
• Majority of work in Lower Mainland but potential travel

This position is located in the Lower Mainland, BC Canada.
