Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Provide technical advice to engineers, builders, architects, and wood suppliers for some of the largest mass timber projects in North America.
- Analyze construction drawings to identify potential improvements to connection design, ease of installation, and more, delivering high-value solutions to customers.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, including engineering firms, wood manufacturers, etc.
- Provide a link between the engineering and sales teams so that the increasing complexity of the support queries received can be addressed. Understand sales process and dynamics.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their technical needs are addressed and resolved.
- Maintain client records in the system.
- Comprehension of construction processes, and how to bring high quality service and support to customers etc.
- Use creativity to find solutions to a wide range of engineering problems.
- Provide the best customer experience, with a strong drive for understanding and identifying the needs of the customer.
- Demonstrate ownership with a strong interest in assisting the sales team in closing a deal.
- Strong team player that takes pride in elevating the knowledge of their colleagues etc.
- Believe in providing honest, timely, sustainable, and efficient solutions, contribute to the reputation of integrity.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
- Knowledgeable in wood construction, structural hardware and design standards in Canada
- and the United States
- Strong in your analytical skills and capable of simplifying complex technical concepts.
